Artist Bio/Description: Broken Lane
Broken Lane is a rock/pop band from Chino, CA. The band members, ages 16-24, have an extensive background in musical performance. Inspired by artists like Aerosmith, the Dave Matthews Band, Donny Hathaway and Nickel Creek, their unique sound is a product of their diverse musical influences and their own personal touch. They can easily take an audience through the realms of hard rock, soul, blues and pop during one performance. All of the members write original material for the band, and tackling cover songs is no problem.
Jos sings lead on many of the songs. Armed with almost 20 years of singing and performing experience, he's got a captivating voice and great stage presence. He plays a mean harmonica, and also plays rhythm guitar on several songs.
Juz takes any percussion instrument and brings it to life. On the drums he's hard and aggressive, sparking every song with limitless energy. He's fundamentally sound, with years of drum line experience from Jr. high and high school. If asked nicely he'll sing harmony for some songs as well.
Christian is a guitar wizard, capable of playing incredible solos and mean riffs. He's got a real appreciation for the classics: AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, and Jimi Hendrix. Be careful or he'll steal the show right from under you.
Last but certainly not least, Classic Eight is a musician's musician. He plays keyboards and bass in the band, but can also handle the guitar, drums, and harmonica. Plus he sings, providing lead and background vocals. There's never a doubt about his passion for music; you can see it on his face every time he plays.
These guys are in it for the long haul. With their work ethic and determination, they're going to make a name for themselves the old fashioned way: by making good music. The combination of top notch musicianship with lyrics that are both enjoyable and understandable is hard to come by these days. Broken Lane brings both to the table. That alone is worth any price of admission.
