The original sound of Echo Revolution brings with it emotion and urgency. The interplay between all members onstage shows a band which not only enjoys playing together, but engages their audience as well. This band has passion, and it fuels a live show which seldom ends without "encore" chants. Whether playing to long-time fans or newcomers, Echo Revolution wins over audiences with their fearlessness and honesty (well known among their fans for their "quirky" songs), and is amazingly memorable for an indie band.
Echo Revolution formed in 2002, and has independently released 3 albums since ("Aura" 2003, "In the Wire" 2005, and "A Safe Place to Start" 2008) on their garage label Open Arms Records. Their music has been heard on international radio, MTV's Real World and Road Rules shows, and most recently on nearly 150 US college radio stations (charting on CMJ with several).
The sound of Echo is often compared to early U2, The Smiths, with hints of a Beatles influence. Known for their stage show and memorable sound, Echo Revolution looks to tour again in Spring '09. Currently, the band is working on a music video to precede the tour.
