Evergrove
Artist Bio/Description: Evergrove
The seeds of Evergrove were planted in August of 2005, when founding member Liana Brown decided to start work on a side project known as The Branches. It would serve as an outlet for the acoustic-based material that she had written. Her highly original, ambient-style acoustic guitar playing served as the backbone for the majority of the songs that were beginning to take shape. In early January 2006, her good friend and fellow guitarist Brendan Dora begun his involvement in the project, lending his eclectic eletric guitar stylings and songwriting to the sound of the band. Good friend and drummer Tony Geraci signed on temporarily to help the band get on its feet. Alyska Brown, Liana's sister, has joined the band as the bassist. In May 2006, a talented young drummer named Troy Taylor signed on and took over the drum throne. In January 2007, The Branches changed their name to Evergrove. Stay tuned... this is just the beginning.
