Forget the Jones

Forget the Jones' (FTJ) is a breath of fresh air in an all too often congested musical environment. Anthemic without being cliche, aggressive without relying on negativity, Forget the Jones'will cause even the most jaded pair of ears to perk up. From diverse musical backgrounds, the members of FTJ create the sound of heartfelt sincerity carried by an onslaught of guitars and a rhythm section that keeps you guessing around every corner. With one of the most intense live shows around, this band is just as intriguing to watch as they are to listen to. Their relentless and hard working attitude can not be denied.

The love of the road is a common thread among the members of FTJ. Collectively, they have toured with a number of bands all over the country during the past five years. Songs from FTJ’s first EP have been featured on nationally televised sports shows, and a number of compilation CD's and special interest DVD's. The EP was supported regionally by weekend tours in southern California and a west coast tour with Kung Fu records'band, Underminded.

Now, after existing for only a year and a half, FTJ has just completed their second EP at the legendary Westbeach Recorders under the production of Donnell Cameron (Bad Religion, NoFX, Propaghandi). FTJ is poised to take their show on the road.
