Gayle Skidmore Description/Bio:
Singer/Songwriter Gayle Skidmore began playing her original music at the age of 14 at a local coffee shop in San Diego. People began to take notice of her talent in early 2003 when Gayle was announced the winner of the True American Records songwriting contest. She has been honing her songwriting skills since she was eight years old. Her deeply personal lyrics draw you into her playful yet melancholy view of the world. Having independently released five different albums, Gayle’s soulful lyrics and eclectic melodic acoustic style continue to progress as she continues work on her newest album, which will feature songs produced by San Diego greats Aaron Bowen and Jason Mraz.
