Brannon Means - Vocals David Askew - Guitar Ben Smith - Guitar Erik Tinajero - Drums Brent Tarquin - Bass Hailing from Orange County, California, InSolitas bring to the heavy music arena frantic metal harmonies, driving punk rythms, pummeling beats, and crooning melodic vocals mixed with venomous screams. In Solitas combine many diverse musical tastes; influences range from 80s metal pioneers to modern metalcore marvels. Part of what sets In Solitas apart in an already oversaturated scene are meaningful lyrics that invite the listener to genuinely reflect on all aspects of daily life. InSolitas formed in late 2003 when founding guitarist Dave Askew and Vocalist Brannon Means met while attending school in the city of Orange. Their love for music in all its forms later brought on drummer Erik Tinajero, guitarist Ben Smith, and bassist Brent Tarquin. They came together with one desire: to make beautifully heavy compositions that people could relate to on all levels. Since forming, InSolitas has made an underground name for themselves though word of mouth, passing out demos, as well as touring and playing local venues. The future looks bright for these young artists as they have just finished and released their debut EP "The State of Mankind," which has been funded and promoted entirely by the band themself.
