Intercept
Artist Bio/Description: Intercept
We're a southern California rock band that has been picking up quite a bit of steam. In under 2 years, we moved from the smallest, hole in the wall places a band can gig at, to opening up for Peter Frampton at the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival.
In between, we've filled the House of Blues, the Viper Room, the Hard Rock, Saddle Ranch and BBKings at Universal Studios, and performed at a number of marathons and festivals, including Taste of Del Mar, Venice Marina Christmas Run, and the Santa Barbara Whale Festival, just to name a few.
Our debut LP, "Yellow Dog," has been out for a little over a year and a half and has opened a number of doors for us. Earlier this year it was featured as the hand out in media bags at the Sundance Film Festival, and a number of industry events in Hollywood. We were recently interviewed for such websites as musicplustv, metv, and flashrock, and our music can be downloaded from a number of sites, including iTunes.
Our plan is to build an actual business, to employ people and make sure everyone's making a good living by helping to support and distribute the music WE want to make. And by sticking to it every day, and being mindful of where we've been and what we want to do, we've actually begun to incorporate some people into our vision.
We are launching the new website before the end of 2006, and hopefully a new record before Feb. 2007.
