Jaime Portal Luchini Description/Bio:
Pop, electronica, rock, experimental, trip hop, electro-pop are just some of the elements that can be found in the music by Jaime Portal Luchini. Future songs may even include something else...who knows?
Adictum Transition is the new album that was just released. The harmonics and vocals in the new album "Transition Adictum" have been impeccably worked and the songs, of various styles, are able to transport us to different mental states and moods.
Jaime was born in Lima, Perú in 1971, and has been interested in music ever since he can remember, influenced by musical artists such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Seru Giran, Mike Oldfield, etc.
In 1998 he formed Plaka with Julio Flores Alberca. They played experimental pop and together produced "Zona Testigo", which received excellent reviews from the press. Later, he was also involved in other musical projects such as Biocósmica, Quarter Note, and a few others.
Deja que se Vayan, recorded in 2004, was his first solo work where he played the guitars, keyboards, bass, and sequences. However, Sexsonica, his second musical adventure, is by far the best known, making a trilogy: Sexualsong (2005), Sexualsong 2 (2006), and Sexualsong 3 (2007), and also a compilation album: Sexualsong Orgy. Sexualsong started out as just an experiment with erotic and electronica music, and now has surpassed all expectations and has sold thousands of albums online (through sexualsong.com) all over the world.
Jaime Portal Luchini is the producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and recorder for all of his albums. He also designs all of the artwork for his covers. He has an excellent grasp and understanding of music and harmony after studying and experimenting with them for many years. Jaime is a web developer and a graphic artist, specializing in drawing, painting, design and web design. He is a former music teacher and has also developed courses in music, art, and online musical production.
