Jordan Loder came into the world with a bang on July 4th. Born and raised in the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachussetts, he's also lived in Rhode Island, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and California. His travels have led him to such localles as India, Thailand, Laos, Egypt, Spain, Ireland, Canda, and Mexico.
Jordan plays his original music both with or without his band. Musical style is a reggae infused rock with strong emphasis on lyrical content. Imagine Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and Ben Harper thrown into a blender with a little bit of Sting and you'll end up with the monster that is Loder.
Jordan embraces a nomadic lifestyle and records his songs with the power of the sunlight. A strong proponent of solar power, he also champions the use of hemp for food, shelter, and clothing. "Oil man, you beter stop your plan"
Loder is emphatic about the underlying unity behind all religious thought and you'll see that reflected in his lyrics and also in the tonal quality of his voice, which has been seasoned by the sweat lodge, devotional chanting, and a heartfelt desire to touch the minds and hearts of our generation.
At one time Jordan renounced music, shaved his head, and took off on a round the world walkabout. The muse would not leave him alone, however, and he is now fully resolved to share his musical gift with the world, viewing his body of songs as a ministry.
Please come out and show your support, listen to the words, and tune in to a common vibration. This is serious business.
