Ketchikan was formed in the spring of 1998 when Jarad and Paco met on the small island of Guam. After playing around for several years with different bass players and even a stray keyboardist or two, they joined forces with Jay Zarecki of Paperboy Jack, and the lineup was complete.
“After auditioning Jay, we decided to get playing right away…and in less than 5 days of adding a bass player we wrote several new tunes to add to our already large song base and played our first two shows within a week.” All three members of this band have served in the US Navy and the US Army, so they know about hard work.
