Operation Downfall
Artist Bio/Description: Operation Downfall
Every now and again, the music industry falls into a slump, desperately in need of something raw and fresh to wrench it from its deepening self-dug grave. That something is Operation Downfall.
Operation Downfall was formed in summer of 2000 by guitarist/singer Mike Fountain, whose powerful vision began to flourish with the addition of lead guitarist Robert Sherman. With these two creative minds working together, the music started to mature into a singular punishing force. Bassist Dominic Hovsepian brought his unique creative stylings to the rhythm section, and Operation Downfall began its conquest of Los Angeles.
By 2003, the brutal foursome was ready to take over Los Angeles, but was temporarily curbed by the departure of their original drummer. Rather than shrinking away, the band quickly absorbed the relentless percussive force of Chris Collins, whose rhythmic styles brought a surge of life to the destructive force of Operation Downfall.
Now, with all new material and an uncompromising metal attack, Operation Downfall is taking California by storm, and the whole country awaits the onset. Beautifully brutal vocals, mind-twisting technicality, and a rhythm section to shatter your skull; Operation Downfall is the new evolution of metal. The infection has begun...and no one is safe.
