PANIC MOVEMENT

PANIC MOVEMENT formed in the spring of 2006 in Los Angeles, California. The band derived its name from the performance art collective established in 1962 by Alejandro Jodorowsky, Fernando Arrabal, and Roland Topor. PANIC MOVEMENT is an amalgamation of individual band member influences and personalities. Various artists such as The Beatles, Sonic Youth, Killing Joke, Joy Division, The Kinks, and The Electric Light Orchestra have influenced members of PANIC MOVEMENT. Psychology, spirituality, cinema, and the Punk DYI ethic have also influenced the band. PANIC MOVEMENT has written and produced a set of bold, inventive, and evocative songs that are infused with energy and urgency. PANIC MOVEMENT stunningly interjects existential and psychosocial themes into a sound powered by incendiary guitars, husky soaring vocals, and infectious pounding bass and drum grooves. PANIC MOVEMENT band members are Benjamin Espinoza, Danny Karpio, Richard Bermudez, and Tony Siquido.
