Paradise

Paradise, a seven piece band that brings you a blend of Latin, Soul, and Rock & Roll music. The music of “Paradise” celebrates life with all its hopes, love, struggles and triumphs.

Each member of “Paradise” brings his own unique musical styles and years of experience in the industry to the band. Starting with the leader and lead percussionist who has an explosive way in playing the timbale to this era of music is Patrick Cruz. Patrick is one of the original band members since it started back in 1991. Also one of the originals is George Estrada. George is the second percussionist who has the style on playing the congas with a tribal beat to it with the help on the drums and new band member is Jeff Graves (picture not shown). Next we have Vernell Ray (picture not shown) who’s been with the band for 8 years playing the bass that gives funky and solid sounds. The rhythm section would not be complete without Craig McIlwain, better known as Macko, keyboard player extraordinaire. Also, with the sound of funky Latin twist on the guitar is Douglas DeCarlo who joined the band about 1 year ago. Last but not at least is our lead vocalist, Terrence Godfrey aka “T”. “T” has been with the band for about 6 years, who can sing with a smooth, jazzy & funky vocal sound.

All of these musicians have many years of musical experience that bring it all together to make the “Paradise” sound……LATIN, SOUL, ROCK & ROLL.

When our friends and fans come out to see “Paradise”, we like them to leave with an explosive feeling of joy, wanting more, to forget their everyday worries and take a musical adventure with us. With a blend of Latin rhythms from Africa, Caribbean islands, and South America we throw in a touch of Motown soul which creates a beat that will keep you out of your seat. We hope after seeing one of our shows that you will leave with the sense of "I was in paradise" and “Paradise” is real. A “Paradise” live performance is one not to be missed. Each “Paradise” show radiates energy and tightness that fires up every audience they’ve performed for, over and over again.

Headlining or opening act, it doesn’t matter. They will give you the best performance at all times.
