After many moons locked in the booth, the team now christened "Parker and the Numberman" released their first official project. A shoot from the hip, pull no punches, e.p. titled the "Talented Tenth". - Mr.Mead
"we're doing what i call 'smartrap'...its not for everybody. i listen to Talib, Mos Def, Immortal Technique, and i dig it but i also listen to Sugafree, E-40 and Comptons Most Wanted, Weezer, Stone Temple Pilots, Etta James, David Bowie, Bach and Otis Redding. Im not a rapper, imma real person. So, i make music for people just like me. People who see the similarities in different points of view. We make music for people smart enough to see the box corporate america is trying to box us into. We make music for the variety of thoughts we encounter all over the country. From college dorm rooms in New Hampshire to crook corners in Oakland. We're some real dudes...i dont think we could do anything but make "real" music."
