Preceeding the birth of Parker Theory, Jesse Pruett, singer-songwriter and guitarist recruited some talented friends on a solo project in the summer of 2000. While recording, they realized the unique sound made together was impossible to ignore. They released their first 5 song EP, catapulting them into the southern california music scene. Parker Theory quickly attracted many fans, labels, and radio stations. After many months of playing shows, PT went into a winter hibernation and recorded the debut album, "Can anybody hear me," which was recently released in 2003. The album was recorded with Jeff Forrest, the keyboard player/vocalist of Parker Theory at his world famous location, DoubleTime Studios (also known as his second home). It was engineered, produced, and mixed by Jeff and Jesse. A few months after its release, the album received radio play and was nominated for Best Pop Rock Album in the San Diego Music Awards.
They have played with many national acts and are looking forward to reaching different fans from all around the world. Keep an eye out for Parker Theory in 2004, with many good things to come, this band will impress you with their live energetic shows, healthy-eating habits, great hair, ability to switch instruments, and did we say, "hair?"
