Plump has quietly maintained legend status since 1993 in their hometown of San Diego due to their original trio eclecticism which over the years has featured a repertoire of over three hundred songs. Audiences laugh at their silliness but admire their musicianship, and a memorable impression is made at each show for those experiencing Plump for the first time.

As a group of musical friends, Plump never made a pretense of being a ‘touring band’ or pushing cd releases Word of mouth alone has kept Plump shows vibrant for years on end. Members David Carano, Grant Clarkson, and Ed Fletcher have all toured with known bands such as Wise Monkey, Psydecar, and Robert Walters’ 20th Congress, but as those things come and go, Plump remains; musical and entertaining. And now Plump has refocused ready to bring what San Diego audiences have long known to a wider circle of friends.
