Founded in 2008, ProgKnowSys is a 5-piece cover band from Orange County, CA which specializes in performing well-known progressive rock and classic rock radio hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Nearly all of the songs in ProgKnowSys current repertoire are played in regular rotation on local SoCal radio stations such as JACK-FM, 100.3 The Sound and KLOS. ProgKnowSys has performed numerous gigs throughout Orange County for the past 3 years.
ProgKnowSys is SoCal's alternative to stale, predictable, bar & grill cover bands. We cover a wide variety of classic and progressive rock favorites from the '60's through the '80's with passion, skill, and an attention to sonic detail that must be heard to be believed. "Cover band" doesn't describe us - ProgKnowSys is best thought of as a classic and prog rock tribute band, one that delivers a unique mix of well-loved songs that you just can't hear from other "cover" acts.
