Really Nice Camper is a southern California band based out of San Diego. Formed in mid-late Febraury 2007 by members of a former local band, The Swayzes, Really Nice Camper is comprised of Skyler Anderson on vocals and guitar, Matt Steele on guitar and back-up vocals, Nick Alford on bass, and Matt Christian (aka Thing 2) on drums.
With influences ranging from such artists as Elvis Costello, Fountains of Wayne and Wilco to Thrice, Social Distortion and Weezer; Really Nice Camper has a sound that spans from hard hitting and energetic songs to jazzy, mellower tunes to the classic pop gem.
Having recently finished their debut demo a few months ago, Really Nice Camper has recently begun to play out at venues around San Diego such as The Beauty Bar, The Kava Lounge, The Triple Crown, Winston's and Humphrey's.
