Revenge Club

Proclaimed by many as one of the best new female-fronted punk bands, San Diego's Revenge Club has done the time, flown by the seat of their pants, and lived to tell the tale. The riotous punk-rock four-piece got their start early in 2004 in the lively San Diego punk scene. After having played the clubs for a few months and self releasing their first EP "Shot Myself in the Foot," Revenge Club began receiving rave reviews nationwide as well as recognition from European fans.

To get the gist of Revenge Club’s sound, imagine seething lyrics fueled by fast guitar licks and backed by a pounding rhythm section. Envision a mixture of sweet anguish and exhilaration trampled by Dr. Marten boots. Thrash around to themes such as becoming a stalker, magnetizing psychos, job-related nervous breakdowns, and of course, getting good old-fashioned revenge. Revenge Club pours fuel on the flames and fights fire with fire! Can you imagine for a second, what would have happened if The Dead Kennedys and Blondie had conceived a musical love child, and that love child was completely enamored with L7, Bikini Kill, and Jawbreaker? Well now... wonder no longer! Revenge Club would be the bastard child of that raucous affair!!!

Amy (vocals/guitar), having previously fronted the all-female band Brag Doll, is now rockin' with the boys! Originally from New Orleans, she's been lightin' up the San Diego punk scene for years, and showin' no signs of lettin' up on the Gas!

Doug (lead guitar/vocals) is a San Diego native who comes from a very artistic family. (His parents painted the Lindbergh mural on the building at the San Diego airport). He plays guitar like he's been at it for about ten years prior to birth, and his metal infused solos give the punk band an original flair.

Sean (bass), a transplant from Albuquerque, is a veteran of the San Diego music scene, having played in other local bands such as Blue Bottle and 66 Ohm. He currently shares time with the local indie band, Return of Mr. Blackshirt, but never misses the opportunity to throw in a catchy riff, his two cents, and a gnarly scowl!

Bryan (drums) has played in various other local bands as well as drummed in Germany and France, and Revenge Club likes to think of him as the resident Wookiee, as he tends to show up wearing a Chewbacca mask and drums like Animal!

The underground anthems "Suicide Song" and “Wrecking Ball” were scooped up for a compilation of San Diego’s best punk songs, “Scene Not Heard” put out by New Sob Records, and they are currently receiving airplay in cities ranging from Portland to Sante Fe, Argentina. Revenge Club has a myriad of shows lined up this fall and plan on recording a full length album in the near future. Providing a new twist on 80s style punk rock, Revenge Club is ready to wreak havoc and kick you in the balls!
