Shoestring Strap Description/Bio:
Based in San Diego, CA, Shoestring Strap combines the styles of alt-country, bluegrass, country blues, and ragtime to create what they call Urban Country. Their original songs are influenced by alt-country and cowpunk bands like Whiskeytown and The Old 97's, traditional and not-so-traditional bluegrass artists like Del McCoury and Tony Rice, the country blues of Mississipi John Hurt, and the ragtime of Scott Joplin.
