Southland has been together for 19 years, rockin' the house down with a brillant mix of cover songs encompassing Classic Rock, Blues, R&B, Country Rock, Funk and some of thier great originals. Southland is made up of eight talented musicians
consisting of a great horn section, 3 part harmony all backed up by great drums, guitar, base and keyboards.
Southland has performed all over Southern California at such well know places as House of Blues, The Galaxy, The Coach House, Starlight Bowl, even a one hour live concert on Mark and Brians KOLS 95.5 show. They've headlined many times at the listed venues along with opening for such greats as, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Jim Belushi, Dennis Quiad, Ambrosia, Bo Diddley and many more. They were nominated for best classic roots band by the Orange County Music Awards in 2006, 2007 and nominated for best band in 2008.
Southland is available for Corporate and private functions along with city events. They have over 100 songs in their book to satisfy everyones taste in music.
