Spud Davenport

Owing much to quirky artists like Frank Zappa and Tom Waits, singer / songwriter / musician Spud Davenport spins his tales of woe and WHOA with his Accordian, Piano, Guitar, and Kitchen Skillets. Sometimes sarcastic, sometimes sad, sometimes so silly, Spud sings and screams the stories of the hopeless, but hopeful. A Suburban Housewife gone mad (Time Bomb Mom), a Homeless man and his happiness (Hot Black Cast Iron Stove), a Modern-day Bonnie & Clyde (The Out-of-Towners), and an accident victim's bad-karma recall and remorse (Waiting for the Ambulance). March 2007 marked the release of his debut album, Green, showcasing his many abilities including Producer. Currently living in and playing out in San Diego, CA, Spud Davenport is an artist not to miss.
