Seth's obsession with songwriting, his idealism and his emotion-filled vocals made him a natural front man. Along with Torin's jazz-inspired bass expertise and overwhelming stage presence, the duo had the beginnings of a band that was destined to create inspiring music.
In 2004 Seth and Torin met Russ Dahl advertising on Craigslist and found that his scientific approach to rock drumming helped develop their own sound that combines musical sounds from U2 to the Foo Fighters, with infectious melodies. Looking more like a longshoreman than a rock drummer, the intimidating Dahl immediately clicked with Torma and Seth at the first rehearsal.
The Evergreens finished a full length self-titled CD (January 2005) that has been very well received by critics and fans alike. With catchy, sing-along melodies that evoke feelings of joy, hope, and introspective thought, the band continues to draw larger crowds to every show. The Evergreens are a band with a very bright future and a huge portfolio of music that continually grows as the band's creativity flourishes.
