WestKoast and his brother Lobes have been performing since 2002 in the Midwest and are currently located in San Diego, California. Having added a 3rd member to The Lost Angel Crew in 2007 and shortly there after inking a one album deal with Latin Thug/Koch and signing themselves to their own independent label, ILL-EGO Entertainment, LLC. The Lost Angel Crew plans to release their debut album in 2009 in part with ILL-EGO Entertainment, LLC and Latin Thug/Koch.
WestKoast, born April 24th 1980 in West Covina, California, contributes to the group with his intricate metaphors and well thought analogies. WestKoast aspires to paint an invisible picture with his rhymes and wants you to visualize it with your imagination. Starting out freestyle battling in high school, he was influenced by hip-hop to bring reality to rhyme. WestKoast has taken inspiration from artists such as Kurupt, Big L, Nas, Chino XL and Crooked I, to name a few. His delivery is designed to perfection and has the ability to move crowds with authority.
Lobes, born May 24th 1984 in West Covina, California began rhyming around the year 2000 and has also been making beats for about 3+ years. Lobes draws inspiration from emcees such as Eminem, Slug, Crooked I, Big L and many more. Lobes, producer of beats, is responsible for one half of the beat creations The Lost Angel Crew uses as canvas for their art. Lobes's lyrics are inspired by his sense of humor and taste for psychological metaphors.
Deviate Minded, born January 21st 1988 in Glendale, California, joined The Lost Angel Crew as the 3rd and solidifying member in early 2007. A cinematic beat maker and also one half of The Lost Angel Crew's production team, Deviate Minded is referred to as an emcee of extreme complexity and a producer of complex extremity. His influences are made up of Eyedea, Vinnie Paz, LMNO, and Sole to name a few.
The Lost Angel Crew has been playing shows in the Midwest and plan to continue their performances back home in California as they work on their first major release, as well as visit other cities in the U.S. and overseas, introducing their new album. They are very insistent on keeping the music based on original hip-hop and remaining consistent with bringing you well-thought and well-presented music; never selling themselves short when it comes to composing or performing their music.
