The Nessarose

Back in Summer of 2005 James Boucree, rhythm guitar, and Mike Garcia, bass, started a band. Shortly after it's creation lead guitarist Alex Morris was inducted. Originally a jam band, The Nessarose began to write original music in an attempt to showcase their individual talents. Finally, former drummer Ruben Gomez was introduced and helped to write many of The Nessarose's current songs. After months of practice and playing shows both good and bad, the band created a small following in Chula Vista and neighboring towns and cities. The four piece soon decided to introduce a second guitarist, Brian Bauman. After moving James to bass and Mike to lead vocals, the band quickly came up and began selling out shows at a local venue. At the peak of the rise, drummer Ruben Gomez left the band to focus on school and Mike was put on drums. Now a set four piece, The Nessarose hopes to take the west coast by storm and began planning a summer tour and plans to be in the studio in the months and years to come.
