- Blues Alley is hosted by KPRI again this
year and is located on Bacon Street in front of Nati's Mexican Restaurant.
- Artists Alley Stage is located on Cable
Street in front of Union Bank.
- San Diego CityBeat - FM 94/9 Acoustic Stage,
our new stage, will be located in front of Sunset Garage on Bacon Street.
- The Main Stage always in the OB Pier parking
lot and always great music!
Artist's Alley will host unique handmade
creations by talented artisans. Painters, ceramic artists, fabric artists,
jewelers and much more! Stop by and make a Free Fat Hat to take home!
Many of the artists do demonstrations throughout the day! You won't want
to miss them.
Community Mural Project - Join
in the fun and paint a square of this mural. Children and adults of all
ages are welcome in creating this masterpiece while listening to the
music from KPRI Blues Alley Stage! Take a look at the gallery to
see murals of the past!
The ultimate challenge area with the Rock Climbing
Wall is sure to entice the adventuresome spirit. New this year,
Laser Tag Outdoor Battlefield Experience
by Laser Tag USA will be located in the parking lot by Newport Avenue
Antique Center (4800 blk of Newport). Wow, too much fun for everyone!
Also, this year's fair will have Ocean Beach Surf &
Skate entertaining us with skate demos on Cable Street just north of
Newport Ave.
- 10am - 12pm Contest Practice
- 12pm - 2pm OB Skate Contest
- 2pm - 4pm Pro Demo
- 4pm - 6pm Best Trick Contest and Finals for Street Contest
- 6pm - 8pm Awards and Free Skate
Kids love the half-acre Wonderland Children's area
(in the US Bank parking lot). Huge inflatable slide, kiddy cars, games,
pony rides (new this year) are just a few of the activities to keep kids busy.
Amusement enthusiasts will enjoy the Nicita Carnival
Area with plenty of rides and thrills for ages 8 and above. The
Sizzler, the Swing, the Kayaks and the Teacups are just part of the carnival
and will be in the old Bank of America parking lot during the Street Fair fair.
Chili
Cook-Off - Dont forget the Chili Cook-off located on the grassy
area by the Main Stage! Sit by the beach and taste some of the hottest
chili in San Diego, including the committee chili, made possible with the
help of Smart & Final. The Chili Cook-Off tasting starts at 11am til we
run out of Chili!! 12 judges will pick the winners, but the People's
Choice is up to you! Awards are given around 2:30 pm.
Over 250 merchandise & food booths. Of course,
there will be a tantalizing array of food vendors to please any appetite.
Not to mention, Ocean Beach is famous for its numerous local eateries.
Merchandise galore for three blocks. A shop til you drop experience!
The Beachside Beer Garden & Liquorland will be
located in the OB Pier parking lot right at the Main Stage (sponsored by Winston's) for thirsty adults. Be sure to
bring your ID!
Last but not least . . . the fabulous OB Raffle
once again! Tickets are $2 each or 6 tickets for $10. Some of the prizes
include a TV, Barbeque, gift basket and lots of dinners
at area restaurants. Tickets will be for sale starting June 1st.
